40W RGB COB Video Light with Mini Bowens Mount
I recently put the 40W RGB COB Video Light through its paces to see if it holds up as a reliable portable fill light. Between the full-color RGB spectrum and the integrated battery, this unit aims to be a complete package for small-scale studio work and field production.
Performance & Build Quality
The build feels robust, utilizing high-quality COB technology that keeps the unit cool even after extended use. Its compact frame doesn't sacrifice durability, and the inclusion of a mini Bowens mount allows for surprisingly modular setups with various light modifiers.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using this light on location is effortless thanks to the 3400mAh battery, which removes the clutter of power cables. The intuitive interface makes switching between bi-color temperatures and the 359-degree RGB spectrum quick and responsive during fast-paced shoots.
This light is perfect for solo content creators and videographers who need a portable, high-quality lighting solution for interviews or creative color effects.
Final Thoughts
The 40W RGB COB Video Light is a powerhouse that justifies its $199.00 price tag through its sheer utility and portability. With a well-deserved 4.89/5 rating, it is a piece of gear that will undoubtedly become a staple in your production kit.
